OKAY ITS NOT AN ANT!

I didn't cut the seedpod just pulled it open, rather tough. The caviar on the inside compared to a .5mm pencil.

Seed pod pic taken at home. I opened one ad it has a hard core with a fine black "caviar" over it. I suspect that the caviar is the seeds. The size is approx .5mm

Notice the silky tube that the bug deposited in the plant. The core of the plant was eaten away approx 2 inches deep.

Some or other bug has destroyed the plant, I've taken some pics with my camera, but I could not find the bug.
